Grounds is a unique place that is located in the historic district of Paulus Hook in downtown Jersey City, NJ. Open seven days per week.  Monday-Friday

7 AM-5 PM

Saturday and Sunday

8 AM-5 PM.

We roast our own coffee on site and make the best coffee drinks in JC.

We also offer fantastic breakfast and deli lunch sandwiches.  

Recently we started serving BBQ at Legal Beans in our back yard garden Wednesday-Sunday

11:30 AM to 3 PM

Legal Grounds has an incredible backyard that is available for private parties.  

We are in a great position to have an extremely healthy catering business that provides us with the ability to prepare many styles of cuisine including but not limited to Spanish, Mexican, Italian, Filipino, BBQ and many other variations of cuisines.

In short, we are really good at providing great food to any kind of event you might have.

Or, choose one of our intimate  venues to host any event you may have. However, our capacity at our venues are typically fifty people or less.
